Parkinson's Support

   â€‹â€‹

Living with Parkinson’s can bring both physical and emotional challenges — tremors, stiffness, fatigue, or simply the need to find deep rest.

This session offers a slower, more soothing pace, designed to bring calm and relaxation to both body and mind. While reflexology is not a cure, many people with Parkinson’s find comfort, improved sleep, and a greater sense of wellbeing through regular treatments.

Sensitive, nurturing, and tailored to your needs, this is a space to pause, breathe, and let go.

🌱 How Reflexology Supports Parkinson's

Reflexology works by applying gentle pressure to specific points on the feet, which correspond to systems and organs in the body — the nervous system, muscles, circulation, digestion, and more.

For people living with Parkinson’s, the aim is not to treat or cure the condition, but to offer deep relaxation and support for overall wellbeing.

What Kinds of Things Might This Help With?

  • Ease stiffness and muscular tightness

  • Encourage better circulation

  • Find moments of calm within anxiety or restlessness

  • Support more restful sleep

  • Reduce a sense of fatigue or overwhelm

  • Feel more balanced in body and mind

  • Tremor-related tension

A Typical Session

  • A gentle check-in to hear how you’re feeling that day

  • A slower-paced reflexology treatment (around 60 minutes), with extra focus on breathing techniques.

  • Tailored points to support nervous system balance and release areas of tension.

For Loved Ones and Carers

Parkinson’s doesn’t only affect the individual — it touches families, friends, and carers too. Reflexology can be a supportive space not just for those living with the condition, but also for the people who walk alongside them.

Carers and loved ones are always welcome to be present during the session, or to book treatments themselves. Offering time for rest, calm, and nurture can make a difference for everyone involved.
